Statements of work (SOWs)
Statement of work drafting and review for projects: deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria, pricing, responsibilities and change control.
Discuss this service
A defined scope. A shared expectation.
- Project scope, deliverables and exclusions
- Milestones, dependencies and responsibilities
- Acceptance criteria and review periods
- Fees, expenses and payment triggers
- Change requests and links to the main agreement
A statement of work connects a commercial agreement to the project being delivered. We help you articulate the scope, agree responsibilities and make the basis for payment and acceptance clearer.
Describe what completion means
A list of activities is not always enough to establish what the customer receives. We work through deliverables, acceptance and sign-off so that the document reflects the actual project and the decisions both parties need to make.
Allow for change without losing control
We help document how changes are requested, assessed and authorised, including their effect on fees and timing. Assumptions and customer dependencies can be stated alongside the agreed scope.
The scope of this service
Non-reserved contract advice and drafting. We do not certify the technical design, project feasibility or accuracy of estimates provided by delivery teams.
Our service standards ↗Bring the question.
We’ll work through the detail.
Share a short project brief, the proposed delivery plan and any MSA or purchase terms. Identify what is fixed, what remains uncertain and who will approve deliverables.
We confirm suitability, deliverables, fees and any exclusions before the engagement begins.

Can you turn a proposal into a statement of work?+
Yes. We can help translate a commercial proposal into a SOW, identifying missing scope, acceptance and change provisions for you to resolve before agreement.
Does a SOW need a master agreement?+
Not every arrangement uses an MSA. We review the intended structure and identify where the governing commercial terms should sit, including how a SOW relates to purchase terms or other documents.
